Bowl - India

diameter 60 cm, height 24 cm. not for sale

This bowl has been constructed from bricks decorated with an "Indian" motif. The obvious dichotomy symbolizes contrasts. One can think of poor-rich, yin-yang, etc. The work has settled slightly during the firing because of the open structure and its own weight to come to more naturally rounded contours.
